The Grapevine Art & Soul Salon
sandy mason
Sandy Mason (aka sandy mason) is an award-winning photographer who spends her time observing, thinking, and taking care of a household of humans and animals.
She is always looking for signs, messages, or lessons ... and just the right light.
And we are so fortunate to have access to her photographs, including the ones that go up on our home page as well as other places in our journal.
For this issue, we are featuring a video that beautifully illustrates the muse in Sandy Mason, also known as sandy mason and Sandy Wandy Woo. Outdoors, at night, she dances with a large hoop holding flashes of fire while voices emerge from the darkness to keep her going.
(This is Barbara Knott speaking in the daytime, while setting up The Grapevine and musing on Sandy dancing in the dark. As soon as I turn the video on fullscreen, our dog Bijon springs up from the bed behind me and races his little terrier/Pekingese body over to see what is happening. His nose is twitching a mile a minute and his eyes are as big as black saucers. May the view and sound have the same effect on you.)
I just discovered that to reach it on Facebook from here, you have to have Facebook on as well. And open it up to full page. Go to the trouble of supplementing my inadequate tech skills. It's worth it!
